Chronicles of Nox/Episode 12

Our heroes watch in horror as Oswald Myrr is carried off by a horde of orcs. Then a massive Voth airship arrives! An even larger surprise is revealed moments later!

Working quickly, the Voth take possession of the legendary wizard and fly off.
The Forsaken bravely take a second airship all the way to the mysterious continent of Voth. Once there they befriend a Voth elder and try to find out about the strange elves.

Chronicles of Nox/Episode 11

Surprises abound!

The Forsaken find themselves trapped in the dungeon of Castle Rathbone. They have to fight hobgoblins, a helmed horror, and demon-worshiping cultists to escape. Our heroes also rescue a young woman with no memory of her past.

After meeting with Quarios, the party decide their next move. They buy supplies and leave the young woman with their patron. Quarios sends them on another mission to Naern with Gabby Pollywoggle. The high elf says he believes he has located the most prized of all of Oswald Myrr’s artifacts, the Staff of Power. After arriving in Naern, the party mount magical horses and ride into a nearby forest. Once there they discover Oswald’s manor, protected by a few enchantments.

The real surprises begin to roll forth when the Forsaken find the legendary Oswald Myrr. He warns them that they must find the staff before the enemy. Then a contingent of orcs and orc shamans show up and kidnap the wizard with magic. As the party mounts up to follow the horde of humanoids, a massive object appears in the sky and blocks out the sun. Our heroes look skyward in wonder as a loud humming sound fills their ears.

Dragonfly – Episode 20/ A ragtag group of refugees are led by the Forsaken, heading north away from the village of Freyas. Then a massive roc attacks the convoy and kills half of the people. Temdreh barely escapes with her life, saved only because of Liara the high elf monk.

Finally the party reach the large village of Balthos on the shore of Lake Balthos. They find the settlement is under the control of the Lost Spears bandit clan. In the morning, the Wolf Guard arrive from Hommel looking for the Forsaken. They are aware the Forsaken stole crates of their crossbows. Suddenly the Wolf Guard reveal they are werewolves! A bar brawl erupts with the inn staff fighting alongside the adventurers. Later, the heroes make a deal with the Pirate Queens and head down river to rendezvous with the Dragonfly.

Dragonfly – Episode 19/ After fleeing Kay on their ship the Dragonfly, our party head east to warn the other coastal villages. Taking the survivors from their home village, the heroes are eager to escape the darkness sweeping across the land. The first stop is Oren, a tiny, quiet village with a bold female ranger in charge. After the party can’t convince the villagers to evacuate, they decide to seek out the village elders. They uncover much more than they expected.
The next stop is the village of Lucen, high above on cliffs overlooking the Salamar Sea. This visit doesn’t go well after Lynne cannot hold her tongue. The paladin and cleric both contract lycanthropy in a nasty battle.

Later, Lynne and Thorn are both transformed into werewolves after arriving at the village of Freyas. After Lynne tosses Thorn into the ocean, the two werewolves swim towards the beach. Their monster forms are bathed in the moonlight shining on the waves. Fisherfolk stand at the beach unaware of what is happening.

Dragonfly – Episode 18/ Flying on the bronze dragon named Dragonfly, the Forsaken head east away from the destruction. The village of Laresh and a whole corner of the Southern Territories had been destroyed by the witch king. A gray fog and darkness are spreading across the ground far below the dragon.
After a brief battle with some shadow birds, a blue dragon bursts from the clouds and attacks. The party urge their dragon to fly for the coast and their smugglers’ den. However, the blue dragon keeps pace and kills Will and Hammish. Finally the heroes reach the coast and the battle continues on board their ship.

Later, the party return to the village of Kay and urge the villagers to come with them and flee the oncoming darkness. Turmoil erupts in the local inn between a drunken high elf and some hill dwarves. Surprisingly, the heroes diffuse the situation. On the way out of their den, the party come face to face with a carrion crawler and then a zombie beholder.

Then the Forsaken led the ragtag group of Kay villagers onto the Dragonfly. The ship sailed east, heading away from the darkness consuming the Southern Territories.

Dragonfly – Episode 17/ The party began their adventures in the seaside village of Laresh. They had just killed the witch Dax and followed strange tracks into a nearby well.
After exploring the sewers for a while, the party encountered a black pudding. The fight was endless as the heroes didn’t know how to deal with the ooze. Later they discovered huge cauldrons and realized someone was brewing a powerful spell. Eventually the party found Bathilda the witch was in the sewers. They fought the witch bravely but she managed to escape. To their surprise the adventurers found a kraken priest tied up in the witch’s chamber. After exiting the sewers the party found members of Captain Kale’s Pirates and the Rock Ghosts bandit clan boarding a ghost ship.

Then massive waves began to pound the coast and everyone knew the kraken was coming. The Forsaken alerted the guards and saved hundreds of commoners. They found they had a way to escape the sea creature and got onto a friendly bronze dragon. Then the enormous monster arrived. As the visions had shown, the witch king was riding the kraken. But then the unexpected happened…

Seveer unleashed a powerful destructive spell that destroyed Laresh and most of the coast. A dark fog and sickness began to race across the land towards the east. Our heroes flew away on the bronze dragon looking back at the aftermath of the witch king’s spell. They stared at each other in a stunned silence….

Chronicles of Nox – Episode 10 and Adventures in Myrr – Episode 58/Our three-year anniversary game! A crossover game. Our adventure begins in the central Myrrian city of Nox. The Curious Company have just passed through a Riftgate into Malakiir Manor from Naern. However, they are not alone! They’ve been followed by a number of the evil General’s forces.

As the story continues, the party are given invitations to the wedding of the century. Our heroes arrive and find out the legendary Legion of Myrr are also at the wedding. The famous adventurers have arrived to confront the bride, Lady Maria Robbins. Varis the sorcerer ends the wedding in spectacular fashion!

Chronicles of Nox – Episode 9/ Our adventure begins on the continent of Naern. The Curious Company are resting up and talking with the elf commander. They learn another attack has happened nearby and the commander asks them to track the General’s forces. Soon the heroes are heading back into the mountains and discover a ruined castle. The mysterious ruin contains a number of interesting finds!

Later the party are called back to a Riftgate and return to Myrr. However, the General’s forces were waiting and crossed into Quarios’ manor as well. Chaos ensues…

Chronicles of Nox – Episode 8/ The party begin the episode back on the continent of Naern. The Curious Company rest in a snowy mountain pass before heading north towards elf territory. Then they follow a magical white rabbit into a mysterious snow cave. Once inside, they fight off a dire wolf, two polar bears, and an ogre. However, the heroes also make a stunning discovery!

Missing the second half of the night due to crying baby?! Trust me you can’t hear the game well enough…This is what happened…

Later the party are attacked by the General’s forces on ice ships. After defeating the evil halflings, the adventurers ride one of the ice ships down the mountain.

Once there, the party find Frostguard Keep and meet more of the forces of the elf Kingdom of Sian. Then an ettin attacks without warning.
